Quick Glance Fasting Challenge Food List

 

Herbal Teas to drink during fasting window.

  • Diabetic-Schizandra Berry Tea, Juniper Berry, Green Tea, Chamomile.

  • High Blood Pressure-Chamomile, Lavender, Rose, and Hibiscus, Nettle Leaf, Stinging Nettle

  • Constipation and Digestive Disorders-Slippery Elm, Goldenseal,

  • Female Hormonal Disorders-Vitex, Raspberry Leaf,

  • Prostate Health-Green Tea, Hibiscus, Saw Palmetto

 

Drink While Fasting

  • Pure Spring or filtered water. (Spring is best)

  • Iodized Seasalt or Pink Himalayan SeaSalt (added to water)

  • Fresh squeezed lemon juice (use up to 1)

  • Unsweetened Herbal Teas

 

Feasting Menu Shopping List 

  • 2 Cartons Organic Vegetable Broth

  • Roasted Dandelion Tea

  • Plant Based Creamer

  • 4 Avocados

  • 7 servings-Unsweetened Organic Greek Yogurt-(I find Kite Hill brand from Whole Foods to be the best Plant based yogurt myself. Meijer also sells Almond Milk and Coconut Milk yogurts)

  • Pastured/Cage-Free/Organic Eggs

  • 5-7 servings-Turkey/Chicken Breakfast Sausage

  • 7 Servings-Organic Fruit-Your choice. (Watermelon, mangoes, and Bananas do not need to be organic as they have protective shells or skin which protects from harmful sprays)

  • 5 servings-Organic Whole Grains-Your Choice of Brown Rice, Oatmeal, Quinoa, Sweet Potatoes, White or Red Potatoes (You will have one per day on feasting days)

  • Salad ingredients-Your choice- (Lettuce, Spinach, Tomatoes, radishes, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, etc)

  • Alternatively, you may have soup and salad or a smoothie for lunch instead of the above fruit, whole grains and salads for lunch. I will post a few recipes ideas on the board.

  • 7 Servings-Wild caught salmon, shrimp, cod fish, or other seafood OR organic Chicken/Turkey

  • Vegetables for steaming (I use Trader Joes frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower, Spinach, and Brussel Sprouts) or fresh cabbage.
